Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical installations and repairs
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues effectively
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance
• Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, ensuring electrical components are integrated seamlessly into building frameworks
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation
• Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work on construction sites or industrial environments

Experience

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes
