Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, local codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications.

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in renovation environments using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation and control functions.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure proper framing carpentry, schematics implementation, and overall project progress.
• Maintain compliance with NEC standards and local electrical codes during all phases of installation and repair work.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems for safety hazards or potential failures, especially in high voltage or power distribution setups.
• Assist in schematic reading for complex electrical systems involving power distribution, low voltage wiring, and control panels.
• Support handyman tasks related to electrical troubleshooting within commercial or industrial environments.
• Document all work performed through detailed reports and logs for quality assurance and future reference.
