Journeyman Electrician (Heat Trace Installation) 3-4 month project

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician specializing in Heat Trace Installation to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Install, test, and troubleshoot heat trace systems using electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Perform high-voltage and low-voltage wiring according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and industrial or construction drawings to ensure precise installation.
• Maintain strict adherence to NFPA 70 compliance (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety) and electrical safety procedures during all tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or renovation projects to identify issues early and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate installation schedules, ensuring timely completion of heat trace projects while maintaining safety standards.
