Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician. The ideal candidate will have a valid license and experience in electrical work, particularly in residential and commercial applications. This role involves working on construction sites, where you will be responsible for building and maintaining electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyman Electrician will utilize their expertise in schematics and power tools to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to complete electrical installations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on construction sites to meet project goals.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Electrical Journeyman license and experience as an electrician.
• Familiarity with low voltage applications is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards in the electrical industry.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
• Must possess the necessary hand tools for the trade.
