Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across diverse environments. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and construction settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry and renovation teams to ensure seamless project completion
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections for each project

Requirements

:

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations
• Hands-on experience working on construction sites, renovations, or industrial facilities with a focus on electrical systems
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation
