Journeyman Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC), and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute projects.
• Test electrical circuits using tools such as multimeters to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and NEC standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.

Requirements

• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics reading.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as testing devices like ohmmeters.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex electrical installations.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage systems.
