Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects
• Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or general contractors to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and repairs made for compliance and quality assurance purposes

Requirements

• Familiarity with NEC regulations, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and the use of ohmmeters for testing continuity and resistance
