Electrician

Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring an Electrician for our operation. The Electrician is a member of our Maintenance Department responsible for providing electrical and electronic maintenance support for plant facilities and equipment.

Shift - 2nd or 3rd

COMPETITIVE WAGES (based on experience), benefit/insurance package, 8 paid holidays, 401K, PTO and Paid Relief Days, $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS, this position is eligible for production and other incentives.

Responsibilities: Installing and maintaining AC and DC industrial electrical equipment and control systems Installing and maintaining facility electrical, lighting, and power distribution Reading/interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches, Mentoring less experienced/knowledgeable co-workers Following company guidelines and directives Performing various assigned department duties Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions: Exposed to seasonal temperature changes Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, dust, and vibration This position has consistent daily physical demands Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required Technical degree or electrical apprenticeship is a plus Basic math skills required Attention to detail Problem solving and troubleshooting skills Must be able to work any shift Industrial electrical and control experience required Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen

Classification: Hourly
