Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and Experienced Electric Mechanic to join our team, specializing in residential and light commercial electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components and systems. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential homes and small commercial properties
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Perform wiring, outlet, lighting, breaker panel, and service upgrades
• Install and connect electrical components such as outlets, switches, fixtures, circuit breakers, and control panels
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
• Collaborate with contractors, homeowners, and inspectors as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good working order
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Mathematical Skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience in residential electrical work; light commercial experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and in tight spaces
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
