Duties

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including wiring, fixture installation, and electrical connections according to blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise system setup
• Manage high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Conduct system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to optimize performance and safety
• Collaborate with construction teams on roofing, plumbing, and other trades to facilitate seamless installation processes
• Operate power tools, hand tools, roofing equipment, forklifts, and other machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components and working at heights

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems specific to solar projects
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Familiarity with NEC regulations related to solar energy systems and electrical safety standards
