Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with the installation and repair of residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Support the setup and use of hand tools and power tools to perform various tasks on construction sites. Help with the installation of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication wiring where applicable. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site. Follow all safety protocols in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local regulations. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices to identify faults or problems.electrical installations when necessary. communicate effectively with team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework related to electrical work is a plus. Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. Experience working on construction sites or in similar manual labor environments preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and basic electrical testing equipment.
