Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Handle hand tools and power tools safely to support wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to aid in accurate installation.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify faults.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations and construction schedules.

Requirements

• Prior experience working as an electrician helper or in a related construction or electrical environment.
• Familiarity with industrial and commercial electrician practices is highly preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing devices like ohmmeters confidently.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and low/high voltage systems.
• Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures.
