Electrician

Overview

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools and power tools across multiple environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
• Test electrical circuits with tools such as ohmmeters and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely, following all safety protocols to prevent hazards.
• Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install electrical frameworks and systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical equipment and troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for each project.

Skills

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
• Proficient in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools required for installation and repairs.
