Electrician

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and construction environments
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation and repair tasks
• Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately
• Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations to ensure compliance during all work activities
• Work on low voltage and high voltage systems, including control panels and circuit breakers
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines

Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision
• Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation
• Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools for efficient work completion
