Job Summary

Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine appropriate solutions.
• Manage high-voltage electrical wiring projects safely while adhering to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards for electrical safety procedures.
• Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components critical to industrial operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, including low voltage wiring, high voltage circuits, and control panels, ensuring optimal performance.
• Use power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment skillfully on various construction sites or renovation projects.
• Read electrical schematics accurately to guide installation or repair tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations.
