Electrician - Commercial Foreman

Job Duties

• Demonstrates safe work habits while performing all electrical service tasks/projects with supervision.
• Executes plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, services, intercom, fire alarm and other electrical systems.
• Performs effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
• Installs commercial electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
• Installs safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Ability to use Work order system and provide detailed notes, hours work, material used
• Ensure proper care of tools, equipment, and vehicles utilized by service department.
• Maintain valid driver's license and be deemed insurable by Company's insurance carrier
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the team, customers, vendors, and others
• Perform other appropriate duties, as assigned
• Attend and actively participate in team-related meetings

Experience/Qualifications

• 5-10 Year experience in the Journeyman capacity
• OHSA 10 or 30 training
• Diploma, GED, successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician, or relevant vocational training
• Must have valid vehicle operator's license and be deemed insurable by the Company's insurance carrier

Work Location: In person
