Qualified individuals will possess knowledge and work experience in the following areas, which represent some of the critical aspects of the Industrial Electrician job: * Reading and comprehending hardwire and ladder logic prints

* Troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment

* Troubleshooting robotic systems and equipment (e.g., Fanuc, Comau, ABB, Motoman)

* Programmable logic controllers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

* Servo controls and devices

* Uses NEC and MIOSHA standards

Basic Qualifications

• Hold, or able to get, a State of Michigan Journeyman License.
• Ability to work any shift and work some overtime, including daily, weekend and holidays
• Experience working from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications
• Electrical experience supporting manufacturing operations to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment
• Experience in replacing broken or defective parts in equipment or machines, electrical equipment and tooling
• Experience in PLC (programmable logic controller) programming and troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial controls, conveyance systems, motor control centers, power distribution panels, electrical starters, variable frequency drives (VFDs)
