Journeyman Electrician / Industrial Electrician

Full‑Time | $28 – $36 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Flint, MI & surrounding areas

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians and Industrial Electricians with strong troubleshooting skills and hands‑on experience in commercial or industrial environments. If you can work independently, diagnose electrical issues, and install or repair complex systems, this is a solid long‑term opportunity with reputable Mid‑Michigan employers.

Roles include commercial service work, industrial maintenance, new installs, and electrical upgrades depending on your background.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues, circuits, motors, and control components
• Run and bend conduit, pull wire, and work with panels
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Perform work according to NEC and jobsite safety standards
• Work independently or lead small teams depending on the job
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, maintenance teams, and customers

Required Skills & Experience

• Journeyman‑level electrical experience (commercial or industrial)
• Strong electrical troubleshooting ability
• Experience with conduit bending, wiring, panels, or motor controls
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Solid attendance and work ethic

Preferred (Not Required)

• State Journeyman license
• Industrial electrical experience (motors, VFDs, sensors, relays)
• Controls or PLC exposure
• Experience with commercial or industrial installs
• OSHA or safety certifications

Pay & Schedule

Pay

$28 – $36 per hour

• Mid‑Level: $28–$32/hr
• Journeyman / Industrial: $32–$36/hr

Schedule

• Full‑time
• 1st shift (most roles)
• Overtime available depending on workload
