Electrician Journeyman/Electrical Controls Technician/Industrial Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician.

The Electrical Controls Technician / Journeyman / Industrial Electrician is responsible for designing, building, and troubleshooting electrical control systems for industrial and commercial applications. This position requires a self-motivated and technically skilled professional capable of working independently while contributing to high-quality, efficient project execution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build electrical control circuits for industrial and commercial applications.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs with a strong understanding of logic design.
• Commission, test, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including startup and programming.
• Perform electrical diagnostics, testing, and system startups with precision and attention to detail.
• Create and interpret electrical schematics using AutoCAD or similar drawing software.
• Manage projects from concept through completion, including coordination, design, scheduling, and follow-through.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other trades to ensure successful project outcomes.
• May oversee apprentices.
