Electrical Helper or Journeyman (Residential)

Job Overview

Lightnin Lectric a looking for a skilled and Licensed Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Helper/Apprentice. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems, strong residential electrical knowledge, and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams to plan and complete electrical installations
• Inspect electrical components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring
• Perform upgrades or renovations to increase efficiency and safety

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
• Experience working with high & low voltage systems
• Knowledge of low voltage systems for various applications
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
• Strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems
• Familiarity with new construction & renovation projects involving electrical upgrades
