Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
• Learn to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot and verify electrical circuits.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standard for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance.
• Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper wiring and connections according to schematics.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to construction site safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing training related to electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and safety protocols.

Skills

• Prior experience with residential or commercial electrician work is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical blueprints reading.
