Commercial Journeymen Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a licensed Commercial Journeymen Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various areas such as hand tools, power tools, low voltage, high voltage, and schematics.

Duties

• Utilize hand and power tools Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
• Install electrical panels, circuits, and distribution systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Understand and follow schematics for electrical installations

Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial electrical experience performing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in commercial facilities and construction projects.
• Current State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License with a valid Texas Driver's License.
• Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations, ensuring all work is code-compliant and completed safely.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for new installations, upgrades, and system troubleshooting.
• Proficient in installing and servicing conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting systems, transformers, and electrical equipment.
• Experienced using a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments efficiently and safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a proven track record of diagnosing electrical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship while following safety standards and company safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently or lead crews while coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
