Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings, including lighting, wiring, panels, and low voltage systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical work
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work schedules and project timelines
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and schematic diagrams
• Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience as a commercial electrician with knowledge of industrial electrician practices preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical codes such as NEC and low/high voltage regulations
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and schematics for complex electrical systems
• Experience working on construction sites, including framing carpentry and handyman tasks when needed
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience is a plus
