Commercial Electrician - Ohio

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Commercial Electricians. Pay is commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in both high and low voltage electrical systems, with a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). This role involves working on construction sites, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to read and interpret schematics.

Duties

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings. * Work with high voltage and low voltage systems as required. * Utilize hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot issues. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. * Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards on all job sites. * Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs. * Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and team members.

Requirements

* Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role in a commercial setting. * In-depth knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices related to electrical work. * Proficient in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. * Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and technical documents. * Experience working on construction sites is preferred. * Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. * Certification or licensing as required by state regulations is a plus.
