Commercial Electrician

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including low voltage and high voltage wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation and maintenance of electrical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system performance.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems to support automation processes.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during renovation or new construction projects.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, identify potential hazards or failures, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute complex wiring layouts efficiently.
• Perform low voltage wiring for security systems, data networks, or building automation controls as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
