Commercial Electrician

Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician who takes pride in doing clean, code-compliant work and can confidently operate on active commercial construction sites. This role performs installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and service tasks on a wide range of commercial electrical systems. Candidates must be reliable, safety-minded, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities ------------------------

### Commercial Installation & Construction

* Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings

(retail, restaurant, office, hospitality, tenant improvements, and multi-family) * Rough-in, trim-out, and final installation of electrical systems and lighting * Install distribution equipment: panels, breakers, disconnects, transformers, switches, etc. * Run, bend, and install conduit (EMT, PVC, and flex) to commercial standards * Pull, terminate, and label wiring for power, lighting, and specialty systems * Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, riser diagrams, and jobsite markups

### Safety, Quality, & Compliance

• Ensure all installations comply with NEC, local code requirements, and jobsite safety rules
• Maintain safe work practices and proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Conduct quality checks to ensure systems are installed correctly and functioning

### Customer & Team Collaboration

• Work professionally with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades
• Communicate clearly with leadership about project progress or field challenges
• Train or mentor apprentices when needed to support team development
