Commercial Electrician Apprentice

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Inspects and operates electrical systems and components to diagnose defects and malfunctions.
• Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation and construction of electrical equipment and systems found in a commercial setting through the proper use of standard cable wire, conduit, fittings, and hardware commonly used in settings.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
• Replace faulty electrical components including relays and switches
• Requisition parts and equipment
• Maintains records and reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Texas Apprentice Electrician License or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Current Driver's License (Required)

Job Site Working Conditions

• Must be physically able to stand and work for extended periods of time, while carrying required personal tool set (approximately 30 pounds).
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds as needed on job site.
