Service Electrician / Mechanic

Enzo Electric Corp. is seeking an experienced Service Electrician / Mechanic to perform residential and commercial service work throughout NYC.

This position is focused on troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and customer service—not new construction. The ideal candidate is capable of working independently, diagnosing electrical issues efficiently, and communicating professionally with customers.

Applicants MUST reside in Staten Island or Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in residential and commercial properties
• Diagnose power outages, tripped breakers, faulty circuits, and intermittent electrical problems
• Repair and replace outlets, switches, GFCIs, breakers, fuses, light fixtures, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, and related electrical equipment
• Repair older wiring systems, including cloth wiring
• Trace circuits and locate wiring faults
• Perform service upgrades and minor installation work
• Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings to office staff
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with customers
• Drive company vehicle to service calls throughout NYC
• Work directly with the Office Manager to coordinate daily schedules, service calls, customer communications, and job assignments.
• Provide accurate job notes, material usage, and scope details necessary for invoicing and service documentation.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and completed work to the Office Manager in a timely and professional manner.
• Submit service call reports, photos, and documentation required for customer invoicing and record keeping.
• While this position is primarily focused on service calls and troubleshooting, the successful candidate may also be assigned to larger projects and work alongside our electricians and junior mechanics as needed.
