Experienced Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues quickly and effectively.
• Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely on construction sites or renovation projects while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance standards.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing safety.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
• Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately for both new installations and troubleshooting existing systems.
• Work on low voltage systems as well as high voltage setups in industrial or commercial environments.
• Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing outdated wiring or electrical components.
• Demonstrate handyman skills such as framing carpentry when needed for fixture mounting or conduit supports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician in industrial, commercial, or construction settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics reading is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code for electrical safety) standards is required.
• Experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical wiring in various environments.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Strong understanding of local electrical codes and NEC regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately for installation or troubleshooting purposes.
• Construction site experience including renovation projects is preferred; familiarity with framing carpentry or handyman tasks is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues efficiently.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
