SENIOR ELECTRICIAN

Longwood Gardens is seeking a full‑time Senior Electrician to lead advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems across the entire site while ensuring full compliance with all safety standards and electrical regulations. This individual will serve as a collaborative team member and play a key role in training, mentoring, and supporting the Electrician team. Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing hands-on advanced technical expertise for day-to-day operations and maintenance of electrical equipment and controls in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Assisting in the onboarding and training of new Electricians and providing guidance to other trades staff, as needed.
• Taking the lead in planning, organizing, ordering materials, and prioritizing individual work orders.
• Performing day-to-day electrical maintenance, system checks to diagnose problems with the operation, and repairs of various systems including site power distribution/generation, lighting, fountain, controls, and fire alarm systems at a mastery level with minimal supervision.
• Performing administrative tasks related to electrical work orders through WebTMA.
• Providing support for operational and emergency needs including snow removal.
• Interfacing with management, engineers, and contractors throughout large capital projects.
