Duties

• Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as multi meters and power tools to identify issues within electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, panels, and lighting fixtures in residential and small commercial settings.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and schematics to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures.
• Handle high-voltage electrical wiring safely during installations or repairs involving high-voltage systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or code violations; document findings thoroughly.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their electrical needs and provide expert recommendations for upgrades or renovations. Provide quotes and have the ability to explain in "simple" terms to the customer
• Utilize hand tools and construction site experience to efficiently complete projects while maintaining safety protocols.
• Assist with low voltage wiring projects such as security systems or communication networks when required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for each project.
