Residential Service Electrician

Watts Good Electric is looking for an experienced Residential Service Electrician to join our growing team.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in clean workmanship, and can represent our company professionally in customers' homes.

Most of our work consists of residential service calls, troubleshooting, panel replacements, lighting installations, EV chargers, generators, and electrical upgrades. There will also be occasional light residential rough wiring on additions, remodels, and custom homes.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has solid field experience and can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical problems
• Perform residential service work efficiently and safely
• Install receptacles, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and dedicated circuits
• Complete panel replacements and service upgrades
• Install EV chargers, generators, surge protection, and whole-home electrical upgrades
• Read and interpret plans when required
• Perform occasional rough wiring for additions and renovations
• Communicate professionally with homeowners
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Complete paperwork and job documentation accurately
• Represent Watts Good Electric in a professional manner

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Experience working independently
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Able to pass background check
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Comfortable working on ladders and in crawlspaces or attics
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
