Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to identify root causes efficiently.
• Install, repair, and upgrade electrical systems in homes, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and low voltage systems.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to plan and execute electrical projects aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Use testing equipment such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.
• Perform renovations or upgrades on existing electrical systems during remodeling projects or home improvements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and construction site best practices.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about work progress, safety procedures, and maintenance tips to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an electrician with residential service expertise; Solar or commercial experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and low/high voltage systems.
