Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of communication, security, and network systems, contributing to our reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse technical systems while providing outstanding service to clients.

Duties

• Install and configure low voltage systems including Relay controls, thermostats, wire runs, boiler controls, and pump wiring
• Conduct diagnostic testing using specialized tools like ohmmeters, RF testers, and other diagnostic equipment to identify system issues
• Troubleshoot and repair field relatable issues
• Read schematics and technical diagrams to accurately install or repair electrical wiring for low voltage systems in compliance with NEC standards
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and ensuring client satisfaction during field service visits

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Service Technician with a strong background in controls
• Hands-on field experience
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints accurately
• Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters, RF testers, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment for RF and network signals
• Electrical experience with AC/DC systems and familiarity with NEC codes for low voltage installations
