Reports To: Residential Service Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (Based on experience, licensing, and qualifications)

Position Summary

Bickle Electric Heating & Cooling Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused

Residential Service Electrician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for diagnosing,

repairing, maintaining, and installing residential electrical systems while delivering exceptional

customer service and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

The ideal candidate is a skilled troubleshooter who enjoys solving electrical problems,

communicating with homeowners, and representing our company professionally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues.
• Install, repair, and replace electrical panels, service upgrades, breakers, switches, receptacles,

GFCI/AFCI devices, lighting, ceiling fans, smoke/CO detectors, dedicated appliance circuits,

EV chargers, whole-home surge protection, and standby generator wiring.

• Perform electrical safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems using testing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Complete accurate electronic service tickets and documentation.
• Explain repairs and recommendations clearly to homeowners.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Promote additional services when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of residential electrical service experience
• Journeyman Residential Electrician
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
