Residential/commercial Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential properties. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical solutions that meet all safety standards and client expectations. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, and panels in residential settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs
• Conduct low voltage wiring for security systems, alarms, and communication networks as needed
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations
• Test electrical circuits using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to diagnose issues
• Collaborate with construction teams on site preparation including frame carpentry when necessary for electrical installations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on residential projects; industrial or commercial experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage wiring
• Familiarity with NEC standards, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
• Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics
• Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions
