Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage wiring.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and schematics, ensuring quick resolution of faults.
• Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components following local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical blueprints to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
• Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring work safely while adhering to all electrical safety procedures.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical projects efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects, ensuring electrical systems meet specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and low/high voltage wiring.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety procedures related to electrical work.
