Commercial Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards, building codes, and industry best practices. Duties

• Read plans and specifications to identify routing of EMT and PVC conduits.
• Install EMT, PVC, RGC, and other types of conduit as required.
• The ability to properly bend EMT is required.
• Pull and assist with pulling of conductors through raceways.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial buildings using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical schematics to accurately execute project plans
• Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical installations during renovation and new build projects
• Maintain safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety regulations
• Assist with the setup and programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation when required
