Do you excel at pinpointing faults in PLCs, servo drives, NC equipment, and power systems? Can you turn unplanned downtime into a rapid recovery—and then help prevent it from happening again? If so, you’ll thrive supporting our sophisticated automotive glass manufacturing operation.
### You will
- Perform electrical/electronic diagnosis, repairs, and installations on complex manufacturing machinery.
- Run daily line monitoring assessments to spot issues early and maintain quality.
- Investigate and analyze process stoppages due to equipment failure; drive corrective action.
- Assist Engineers with process improvements that reduce cycle time and elevate performance.
- Support major installation and commissioning projects.
- Model regular, dependable attendance and strong teamwork.
### What it takes
- High school diploma or GED.
- Technical trade school apprenticeship (minimum 4 years) or 6+ years in industrial electrical/electronic troubleshooting, repair, and machine installation within a manufacturing setting; Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Technology is preferred.
- Journeyman Industrial Electrician credential (required).
- Expertise in PLC, servo, NC, and power systems with strong diagnostic skills.
- Ability to apply electrical theory to test and modify developmental and operational equipment.
- Proficiency in industrial electrical work.
- Flexibility to work alternative schedules, including 12-hour shifts and weekends.
