Punch Press Electrical Technician/Mechanic - Day Shift in Columbia, Tn

Experience with punch presses and punch press electrical systems and control repairs, including air clutch and brake systems, lubrication assembly repair/replacement.

Job Description

• Repair, install & troubleshooting of press controls.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480/240 systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair relay type controls.
• Installation of new controls.
• Knowledge of air clutch & brake systems, lubrication & pneumatics & how these function with the electrical controls is beneficial.
• Mechanical or hydraulic press experience also preferred.
• 1st Shift, Monday – Friday with some overtime.
• Employee benefits include health insurance, holiday pay (after 90 days) & paid vacation (after 1 year of service).
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
• This position will have a 90 day probation period.

Required Experience / Skills

• Knowledge in 24VDC, 110V, & 240/480V-3-60 electrical controls necessary.
• Able to read electrical schematics/prints for 24VDC, 110V, & 240/480V-3-60 voltages.
• Able to operate general shop equipment including Multi-meter expected.
• Currently enrolled trade school students considered Technical certificates are an advantage.
