Maintenance Electrician

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day as a Maintenance Electrician on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions:

• Safety: Safety is our number one priority. You’ll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout/tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Quality: We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely.
• High-Speed, Loud Environment: We manufacture plastic pails through injection and blow molding machines. It’s fast and can be loud. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer.
• Hard work: Each day you’ll be bending, lifting, stooping, and like to repair equipment. You will replace sensors, contacts, or other defective parts. You’ll work with PLC equipment, multiple small tools, and high-voltage equipment. You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data
• Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, preferably in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
