Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary

Duties

• Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify faults accurately.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
• Maintain low voltage and high voltage systems safely, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Assist with renovation projects and construction site tasks involving electrical systems and framing carpentry.
• Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete electrical installations or repairs on time.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure ongoing safety compliance.

Experience

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in industrial or construction environments.
• Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and schematic diagrams for complex electrical setups.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and renovation procedures.
