SUMMARY

The Electrician reports directly to the Director of Facilities or his/her designee. This skilled worker will work at the journeyman level in the installation, alternation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems.

Essential Functions

• Assembles, installs and tests electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment and wiring used in lighting, fire and burglar alarm systems, power and other electrical installations throughout the school system
• Installs, maintains and repairs electrically operated cafeteria equipment such as refrigerators, dishwashers, maintains and repairs stage lighting systems and provides technical assistance in the operation of such installations
