Low Voltage Technician

Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, and access control systems - Perform system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues - Install and terminate cabling for various low voltage systems - Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of systems - Follow schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and configuration of equipment - Provide technical support to customers regarding system operation and functionality - Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate low voltage solutions - Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job

Skills: - Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including IDS, alarm systems, and security systems - Experience in cabling installation and termination for low voltage applications - Mechanical knowledge for equipment installation and maintenance - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and computer networking equipment - Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints for system installation - Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with low voltage systems
