Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV surveillance, fiber optic cabling, Ethernet networks, VoIP telephony, and access control systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete installations and repairs.
• Perform fiber splicing and cable management for high-speed data transmission across various infrastructure projects.
• Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other specialized equipment to install and troubleshoot electrical components safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, system configurations, and service reports for record-keeping and future reference.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or Service Technician with a strong background in telecommunications or data center environments.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, and network installation best practices.
