Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of low voltage systems across commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that security, communication, and automation systems operate seamlessly, providing clients with reliable and efficient solutions. Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, access control, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and security systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete system installations and repairs.
  • Conduct cabling and wiring of telecommunication lines, power supplies, alarm systems, and network infrastructure using hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform system testing and remote access software configuration to ensure optimal operation of all installed equipment.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate low voltage systems seamlessly into the project scope.
  • Provide field service support by diagnosing issues on-site, performing repairs or replacements as needed, and documenting service activities thoroughly.
  • Maintain knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local regulations to ensure compliance during all installations and maintenance activities.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician specializing in low voltage systems such as CCTV, security alarms, sensors, fire alarm systems, or telecommunication networks.
