Junior Electrician/Mechanic

Duties

• Assist with installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following blueprints, schematics, and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to support installation and troubleshooting efforts
• Support the testing of low voltage and high voltage electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters
• Help maintain construction site safety protocols while working alongside senior electricians or mechanics
• Conduct visual inspections of electrical components and systems to identify potential issues or hazards
• Support the assembly of electrical frames or carpentry structures related to electrical installations

Experience

• Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electrical systems is highly desirable
• Familiarity with construction site environments and safety procedures
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Experience handling hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools like drills and saws
