We’re recruiting for a Journeyman or Master Electrician to join Green Source Electric, a trusted, locally owned electrical contracting company serving Helena, Townsend, and the surrounding areas. This is a full-time opportunity with steady, year-round work and room to grow within a respected, community-oriented business.

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled and licensed Electrician who enjoys variety in their work, values quality and precision, and takes pride in being part of a collaborative, high-performing team. The right candidate will work on a mix of residential and commercial projects — from troubleshooting and repairs to new construction wiring and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential and commercial sites ✅ Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues efficiently and safely ✅ Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications ✅ Manage and guide apprentices, laborers, or subcontractors as needed ✅ Communicate effectively with builders, contractors, and project managers ✅ Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards ✅ Assist with materials ordering, inventory, and job documentationQualifications

Valid Montana Journeyman or Master Electrician License
Valid Driver’s License
Strong knowledge of NEC and Montana electrical codes
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Dependable, organized, and motivated with a commitment to safety and quality

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $34.00 – $44.00 per hour (DOE) Raises: Every 6 months based on performance and commitment Bonuses: Sales commissions and holiday bonuses Paid vacation Company vehicle providedSchedule & Work Conditions

Full-time, year-round position
Projects based primarily in Helena and surrounding areas, with occasional travel
On-site and field-based work environments
