Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that electrical installations meet all safety standards and code requirements while supporting the seamless operation of our clients’ facilities. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical installations.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry and other trades.
• Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems and perform upgrades as needed to improve efficiency or safety.
• Follow all safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others on site.

Qualifications

• Valid journeyman electrician license or certification recognized in your region.
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code), schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
