Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential, and commercial and electrical work. Experience in renovation and construction settings. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of a master electrician
• Work with, guide, and mentor apprentice.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects on time.
• Perform low voltage and high voltage installations as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

• Valid license with clean driving background
• Valid Journeyman license with the ability to transfer it to other states.
• Proven experience as an Electrician in both commercial and residential settings.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents effectively.
• Experience in renovation projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations is essential for compliance purposes.
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable.
• Good customer service is paramount.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
